All puppies are ''sold as Pets''' To pet homes with Liited AKC papers upon spay/neuter completion.
To the best of breeder/seller's knowledge, this puppy is in good health.Pup is vet checked before leaving Bluecajun's.Pup comes with first set of vaccines.Breeder/seller provides a health record.It is your responsibilty to take puppy to a vet to schedule the rest of the shots needed to form immunity.
Breeder/seller is not responsible for any vet bills after the purchase date.
Breeder does not guarantee size or color (my shih tzu s range in both sizes, small standard and imperial.I can breed Imperials and still can get small standards in the litters coming down from the linage.I can breed small standards and still get Imperials.So I do not guarantee size and I do not think any breeder can when your dealing with A.K.C linage which all shih tzu come off of 10-16 lbs dogs which are thier ancestors.My dogs usally range from4- 11 lbs.If you want a gauruntee on size no breeder can promise that.Shih tzu can lighten or darken in color so I can not gauruntee color.
Should the puppy become ill or have a life-threaten Problem before leaving the premises of the seller, Then the buyer can pick a replacement puppy of equal value, first available. If you choose Not to pick another puppy then you lose the deposit you have put down.

All pups must be vet checked by buyers vet within 48 hours or contract is void .Spay/neuter will still apply at 6-8 months.
The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within
48 hours of leaving Bluecajun shih tzu's. A copy of the exam must be mailed to Bluecajun shih tzu. My address will be at the bottum of this signed contract, post marked within 14 days of the purchase. This is mandatory in order for the 6 month Health Guarantee to be granted against congenital defects. IF THIS APPOINTMENT IS NOT KEPT.. ALL WARRANTIES ARE NULL AND VOID !! Bluecajun shih tzu provides the first vet visit for your puppy at 6-8 weeks of age, but must be reexamined by your vet within 2 days of leaving. If within the time frame of 48 hours, the puppy is found unhealthy due to a congenital problem , buyer has the option of returning puppy to the breeder/seller.Any treatable illness is not covered under this contract .
This contract is for a Puppy replacement due a congenital problem.
Buyer must contact breeder/seller within 48 hours with his/her intent to return the puppy. Buyer must return the puppy within 10 business days or in a time frame agreeable to buyer and seller. An exchange puppy or to be placed on a waiting list for the next available puppy replacement are the choices.No cash refunds; replacement only. The puppy must be returned with a letter of diagnosis from a licensed vet stating diagnosis/reason for return.

This guarantee is against life threatening congenital defects limited to heart, liver, kidney, and lungs. If puppy dies Due to a congenital/genetic condition documented by a licensed vet, breeder/seller will provide a replacement puppy of equal value or 100% of your purchase price may be applied toward a puppy of greater value. No money refunded ever for any reason, only replacement of puppy for covered
AN AUTOPSY MUST BE PERFORMED a full necropsy report including stomach contents must be provided to determine the exact cause of death at buyer's expense. Buyer's vet shall send the results in writing to the seller's vet. Buyer shall send a copy of the autopsy report to the breeder/seller. An original death certificate must be provided to the breeder/seller. If illness occurs, dog is to receive immediate vet care and all prescribed treatment is to be followed (do not call the breeder, but obtain immediate licensed vet care). The dog will not be replaced if it should die from conditions resulting from abuse, hypoglycemic conditions, starvation or neglect or accidents. Breeder/seller is to be notified within 48 hours of the death of puppy/dog. Breeder/seller is not responsible for any vet bills to diagnose or treat the puppy for any kind of condition after the purchase date. All documentation contained within this contract will have to be provided to the breeder/seller before buyer is placed on a list to receive a replacement puppy.
Buyer will be responsible for shipping charges in returning the "unacceptable as documented by a licensed vet" puppy. The buyer will be responsible for shipping charges of an exchange puppy. A returned dog for replacement form must be signed by the breeder/seller and the buyer if puppy is returned in person by the buyer. If puppy is shipped a copy of the airway bill, stating person sending and person picking up will serve as receipt of the return to both parties. An exchange puppy of equal value will be provided when available if breeder/seller's vet confirms buyer's vet opinion and shipping or return charges will be buyer's responsibility. Breeder will have up to one year to provide a replacement. Seller has one year from time of purchase to replace puppy of equal value due to the fact that breeder has a limited number of breeding females.

*We do not guarantee against conditions brought on by stress or environmental changes that we cannot control once the puppy leaves our care. Therefore we do not guarantee against Hypoglycemia , Parasites, worms,Viral or Bacterial Infections. Seller will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper or Corona virus ,kennel cough ,coccidia after 48 hrs, as these are such highly contagious diseases they can be contracted immediately after leaving Seller.Contract does not cover the following,Eye problems, ear problems, skin problems,hair or coat problems, giardia, worms, underbites, overbites, Bites problems commen for the shih tzu, luxating patellas, hips, hernias, temperament , undescended testicles, or Stenotic nares (pinched nostrils) is a common abnormality found most commonly in(flat faced) brachycephalic dogs. Umbilical ,inguinal hernias or stegnotic nares are easily repaired at the time of spaying or neutering and is not a reason for returning puppy. At no time will your credit exceed the purchase price of your puppy. If you deside you no longer can care for this said dog I the breeder will take it back but will not refund any monies.Bluecajun shih tzu does not guarantee size, color and temperament. Nor do we guarantee fitness for breeding. Weight is only an estimate. Prices are according more to quality than to size. Hernias are common in Shih Tzu and are not considered a health problem. If the opening is small, with only a fat pad (no intestines) protruding, it will likely close by itself as the puppy matures. As with the slightly pinched nostrils caused by teething, many vets unfamiliar with the breed are much too quick to recommend surgery. It is recommended the dog be allowed to mature before making a decision if surgery is needed. A good time to correct this is when the dog is spayed/neutered. Should the veterinarian want a hernia removed, the price will not be paid by seller.All puppies are started on puppy pad training while here at Bluecajuns,It is your responsibilty to finish potty training.No pups are completely house broke untill they are developed enough to hold themself and that only comes with maturity and further training of this said pup.Which is your responibility after the pups leaves Bluecajun.No dog is truly hypoallergenic. Shih Tzu are one of the better choices for allergy sufferers. Most people think that the hair is the cause of a persons allergy. Dander is the biggest contributor. Shih Tzu have less dander than most breeds therefor people with allergies tend to do better with this breed.One person's allergies may vary greatly from another person's. It is always wise to visit the dog to see if you are allergic to it before you commit.
The purchaser agrees to keep dog at their home and away from public places (veterinarian’s office allowed) until after the third and final puppy vaccination.
Warranty applies to the original buyer only who signed this contract, and is not transferable if puppy is rehomed or resold.If the dog changes hands this contract is void.If you sell or rehome this dog please do not give this contract or any info on this dog ,this dog was sold under spay /neauter and is not to be resold for breeding purposes .
Limited Registration means that the dog is registered and that the dog you are are buying is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration.Dog is sold as a Pet only.Limited Registration helps breeders protect their breeding programs.

Buyer further understands that Seller will hold the registration paperwork from A.K.C.
For this puppy until the puppy is six to eight months of age, at which time the puppy will be old enough to be Spayed/neutered. Buyer understands that failure to provide proof of spay/neuter by the time the puppy is 8 months old will void all warranties stated within the sales contract.
Proof of spay/neuter must be a Receipt from the veterinarian giving the date of the procedure, the exact procedure performed, and the Veterinary clinic name, address and phone number. Buyer understands that in the event that the sales Contract is voided, the registration papers for the puppy will not be released to the Buyer.
Therefore Buyer agrees to spay / neuter and to absolutely prevent puppy births shall be enforceable by legal action for Specific Performance to compel spaying/neutering and shall be enforceable by legal action for Liquidated Damages of $1000.00 if the puppy has not been spayed/neutered before the age of 8 months plus Liquidated Damages of $1000.00 per puppy born if this puppy shall ever bear/beget any puppies.
Breeder/seller is not responsibile for shipping charges or any kind of charges incurred to replace a puppy/dog. No other provisions, aside from those detailed herein, will be made after the purchase date.
Seller guarantees release of the registration paperwork for the puppy upon presentation of proof that the

If for whatever reason, you find that you are unable to keep the puppy/dog, please return it to me. There will be no questions asked just please DO NOT bring the puppy/dog to an animal shelter. I will not refund any money but I will ALWAYS take my own dogs back and will find good homes for everyone. If your plans are to sell your puppy/dog, this MUST be ran by me first before doing so, not to do so could cause a lawsuit! My adults can all be seen through my sliding doors, I do not allow people onto my decks with my parents due to what people can carry from one place to another. Parvo or any other air born disease can be carried by a person walking in an infected area, picked up on shoes or clothing and transported to another innocent dog.
My dogs & pups live in a very clean environment, I sanitize everyday and DO NOT want to jeopardize any of my dogs in anyway.A lot of breeders won’t let you on their premises, but I am willing to let you come see the parents and where they live, etc., but only by appointment and ONLY if I am the first or only home you visit that day and not coming from another kennel .I’m sure other breeders will appreciate the same consideration.I do not give my address out until we have spoken in person on the phone and have set up an appointment time.I had to remove my home address from my website Some knocking on my door after 8 PM wanting to see pups.All pups are started on puppy pads at 3 weeks,most are 90% trained before leaving here.All pups are vet checked and given their shots by my vet.

Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration.
Chapter 3, Section 4A of the AKC's Rules Applying to Registration and Discipline states the following: "Limited Registration may be requested for a dog when application for individual registration of the dog is submitted, provided the application, together with a request for such limitation, is filed by the owner(s) of the litter at birth.
No offspring of a dog for which Limited Registration has been granted is eligible for registration. Each registration certificate for such dog shall carry notice of the limitation, and the limitation shall continue, regardless of any change of ownership, unless and until the owner(s) of the litter at birth shall apply to AKC for removal of the limitation."
A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration shall be ineligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. These events include: Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility and Earthdog.
Limited Registration is determined by the litter owner(s). The litter owner(s) check the Limited box on the AKC Dog Registration Application.
Limited Registration certificates are white with an orange border; the Full Registration certificate is white with a purple border.
Limited Registration can be changed to Full Registration only by the litter owner(s)Being Bluecajun's.
Limited Registration helps breeders protect their breeding programs. If breeders do not want puppies used for breeding purposes, they can request the Limited Registration option for those puppies.
If you don't intend to show or breed your dog, there is no reason to have Full Registration on your puppy, dogs with limited registration can be shown in any event except conformation. Full Registration does not affect the quality of the puppy, it simply designates the purpose for the puppy.
Puppies are to be picked up by the age of 10 weeks old unless other arrangements have been made. Puppy must be paid for in FULL(BEFORE IT LEAVES MY HOME) PLUS Shipping Charges at least 7 days prior to shipping (payment received 7 days prior, NOT sent within the 7 days before shipping). If puppy dies or develops a defect or incurable illness, while still in my home, Your deposit will be refunded to you.

When to spay/neuter: Generally this should be done when the puppy has reached at least 5-6 months for a female and 6-8 months for a male. The older the dog, the more able it will be to withstand the anesthesia. There is no need to wait for a female to have her first heat cycle before she is spayed. In fact, you can avoid the problems associated with estrus by spaying her before it occurs. There is also no need to wait for the male to become sexually mature.
Why spay/neuter: Fixing your dog prevents pregnancy and the birth of unwanted puppies. It avoids the need to restrain the dog during estrus. It keeps both sexes from roaming away from your house in search of a mate. It reduces the tendency of male dogs to urinate in the house, marking his territory. Licensing fees are also cheaper. Additionally, it avoids reproductive-related problems such as tumors, pyometra, false pregnancy, prostate infections, and old-age cancers.
Why should this dog be spayed/neutered? Any puppy sold as a pet should not be bred. This is simply for the improvement and maintenance of the breeding line . Breeders have striven for years to select and perfect shih tzu. Dogs are eligible for a breeding program only if they are able to reproduce either their own quality or better quality in each successive generation. Breeding is not to be done casually nor is it a money-making venture. It is not a hobby and is very time consuming and energy demanding. By demanding that this pet-quality puppy be neutered/spayed, it controls the already overblown dog population, and improves the overall fitness of the purebred line.

Prices for pets range $700 to $1500 LIMITED REGISTRATION
Blue dogs, or dogs with light eyes may be priced in THE higher range due to they are rare.Not many breeders have Blue's or blue eyes.
The size on any Blue does not effect the price here, Blue in Imperail and standard prices are the same.The blue shih tzu is the rarest color of all the shih tzu.
The rarer colors significantly increases the price of a puppy. The rare colors being livers, creams, reds,lavenders and blues.
These pups are a.k.c.,quality,rare colors,GOOD TEMPERMENST vet checked with shots These are not the common color shih tzu that are found anywhere.These are very rare colors.
I do not price dogs untill eyes are open,usally by 4 weeks I can see eye color.
Price is determined by sex, color, eye color ,markings, and pedigree on pup.
Due to demand -Females are always priced higher then males.

is an additional $300 to $350 plus the price of the puppy.Buyer pays all Shipping costs.All pups are shipped from Lafayette La. or New Orleans depending on the airline.
This price includes--- current on vaccinations, Veterinarian examination, Health certificate, Health guarantee, Pedigree, Travel crate If being shipped.
Puppies will not leave my home until at least 8 to 12 weeks of age or until I feel they are ready to be shipped.
Please check your local airport to see if Continental or Delta fly's there.
No shipping is done by either airline if there is a high heat factor.
If you buying 2 pups that are siblings they can be shipped in the same crate.
