DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. -Unless puppy dies or develops a defect or incurable illness, while still in my home, Your deposit will be refunded to you,Other good homes are passed up while a puppy is on hold. PLEASE be very sure that you want the puppy before paying a deposit.With so many inquiries on certain puppies,and some people not following through on sending a deposit.All puppies will remain available to others until your deposit or payment is received. You may want to overnight your deposit or payment, its a very good service for a very reasonable cost if you are worried about not getting the puppy that you want.
We accept personal checks for deposits only.We do not accept Cashiers checks.
If you decide to pick up your puppy up from our home or meeting arrangements are made, we ask that final payment be made IN Cash, or Postal Money Order (NO Personal Checks PLEASE)
Puppy must be paid for in FULL(BEFORE IT LEAVES MY HOME) PLUS Shipping Charges at least 7 days prior to shipping (payment received 7 days prior, NOT sent within the 7 days before shipping). We request final payment be made by Cash, Postal Money Order. Shipping is an additional $350.00 plus the price of the puppy.Buyer pays all Shipping costs.
Registered/registerable ( A.K.C. A.C.A.)which ever registry is stated at the time.etc.), Current vaccinations, Veterinarian examination, Health certificate, Health guarantee, Pedigree, Travel crate If being shipped.Vaccinations are to be given at 6-8, 12, & 16 weeks.
Puppies will not leave my home until at least 8 to 12 weeks of age or until I feel they are ready to be shipped.It is my belief that a puppy isn't emotionally stable if the puppy is sold under 2 months of age.The safety of my pups come first.We feel this gives the puppy good socialization time with its mother.
Most puppies can be flown home between 10-12 weeks old.
AIRLINES AND SHIPPING CHARGES
We will Ship from Lafeyette La.If you want to fly to my airport and pick up your puppy in person that is fine with me I will make arrangements to hand deliver your pup.You take care of the flight arrangements.
Federal regulations require that pets be at least 8 weeks old and weaned at least 5 days before flying.Puppies come Registered/registerable ( A.K.C., A.P.R.I,A.C.A. etc.), Current vaccinations, Veterinarian examination, Health guarantee, Pedigree,( Travel crate If being shipped.)

If you choose not spay or nueture you will not recieve any A.K.C.registration papers on dog.
In the next months I will begin to microchip my pups if the new owner wants the pup chipped.All dogs should be chipped,tags and collars can fall off or taken off of pets if stolen.I will use avid chips.Im in the process of getting all of this done now so I can chip my pups in the next months ahead.All of my adult dog's are microchipped.

1 YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE/PURCHASE AGREEMENT (Revised and Effective Year 2010)
To the best of breeder/seller's knowledge, this puppy is in good health.Pup is vet checked before leaving Bluecajun's.
Please Note: ONLY dogs sold for $500 or more will receive the one year guarantee
(puppy replacement due to death of a congenital problem). You must have a vet statement of "why" the dog passed away and a death certificate from the vet.
All dogs, at any price, receive a three day (72 hours) vet check/healthy puppy guarantee (a puppy replacement during this period).Should the puppy become ill or have a life-threaten Problem before leaving the premises of the seller, Then the buyer can pick a replacement puppy of equal value, first available. If you choose Not to pick another puppy then you lose the deposit you have put down.
72 HOUR VET CHECK/HEALTHY PUP GUARANTEE PROVISION
If within the time frame of 72 hours, the puppy is found unhealthy, buyer has the option of returning puppy to the breeder/seller. Buyer must contact breeder/seller within 72 hours with his/her intent to return the puppy. Buyer must return the puppy within 10 business days or in a time frame agreeable to buyer and seller. An exchange puppy or to be placed on a waiting list for the next available puppy replacement are the choices. The puppy must be returned with a letter of diagnosis from a licensed vet stating diagnosis/reason for return. Umbilical and inguinal hernias are easily repaired at the time of spaying or neutering and is not a reason for returning puppy. Breeder/seller is not responsible for any vet bills after the purchase date.
Buyer will be responsible for shipping charges in returning the "unacceptable as documented by a licensed vet" puppy. The buyer will be responsible for shipping charges of an exchange puppy. A returned dog for replacement form must be signed by the breeder/seller and the buyer if puppy is returned in person by the buyer. If puppy is shipped a copy of the airway bill, stating person sending and person picking up will serve as receipt of the return to both parties. An exchange puppy of equal value will be provided when available if breeder/seller's vet confirms buyer's vet opinion and shipping or return charges will be buyer's responsibility. Breeder will have up to one year to provide a replacement.
All puppies are sold as Pets with Limited AKC papers
A.K.C.papers will be released to you with proof from your vet that the dog has been spayed or nuetured, we do not guarantee the ability of your Pup to bred or showTerms: The Shih tzu Dog described herein shall be spayed or neutered on or before the age of six (6) months and proof of said surgery shall be sent to Bluecajunshihtzus by the buyer’s veterinarian. The AKC Limited Registration Certificate will be provided to buyer upon receipt of spay or neuter.Breeder does not guarantee size, color or breedability. If you choose not spay or nueture you will not recieve any registration papers on dog.

Buyer understands and agrees all deposits placed to hold a puppy are nonrefundable. Breeder/seller provides a health record.
ONE YEAR GUARANTEE FOR CONGENITAL/GENETIC CONDITIONS RESULTING IN PUPPY'S DEATH
If puppy dies before reaching 12 months of age (1 year of age) due to a congenital/genetic condition documented by a licensed vet, breeder/seller will provide a replacement puppy of equal value or 100% of your purchase price may be applied toward a puppy of greater value. AN AUTOPSY MUST BE PERFORMED to determine the exact cause of death at buyer's expense. Buyer's vet shall send the results in writing to the seller's vet. Buyer shall send a copy of the autopsy report to the breeder/seller. An original death certificate must be provided to the breeder/seller. If illness occurs, dog is to receive immediate vet care and all prescribed treatment is to be followed (do not call the breeder, but obtain immediate licensed vet care). The dog will not be replaced if it should die from conditions resulting from abuse, hypoglycemic conditions, neglect, accident. Breeder/seller is to be notified within 48 hours of the death of puppy/dog. Breeder/seller is not responsible for any vet bills to diagnose or treat the puppy for any kind of condition after the purchase date. All documentation contained within this contract will have to be provided to the breeder/seller before buyer is placed on a list to receive a replacement puppy

*We do not guarantee against conditions brought on by stress or environmental changes that we cannot control once the puppy leaves our care. Therefore we do not guarantee against Hypoglycemia , Parasites, worms,Viral or Bacterial Infections. Seller will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper or Corona virus ,kennel cough ,coccidia after 48 hrs, as these are such highly contagious diseases they can be contracted immediately after leaving Seller.Contract does not cover the following,Eye problems, ear problems, skin problems, giardia, worms, bite, luxating patellas, hips, hernias, temperament , undescended testicles, At no time will your credit exceed the purchase price of your puppy.
No cash refunds; replacement only.
Breeder/seller is not responsibile for shipping charges or any kind of charges incurred to replace a puppy/dog. No other provisions, aside from those detailed herein, will be made after the purchase date. We have read the contract, understand the terms, and acknowledge the receipt of or a copy of the contract. We are not relying on verbal or written statements not contained herein. Buyer understands and agrees that noncompliance of any or all of the terms of this health guarantee/purchase agreement will void the guarantee. Any litigations will be held in Terrebonne Parish in Louisiana
Warranty applies to the original buyer only, and is not transferable if puppy is rehomed or resold.
